The comic has been dead for, I don't know, EVER it feels like. That was until now. After a long hiatus followed by losing ALL my comic and WoW data in a corrupted hard drive I thought the comic was done for. I had zero - zip - nada - everything from the story outline and idead to character files to my entire collection of 100+ comic pages and their original PSD files were gone.

Weeks later I stumble upon a 200 gig hard drive that was sitting in storage waiting for a home in a new/old system I was building. Instead of wiping this drive and reformatting it I take a peak at the contents and find a lost backup of my old OLD computer which contained, you guessed it, A BACKUP OF THE COMIC! WoW mapviewer, WoW modelviewer, the working WoW Data folder to go with mapviewer, all the character files with armor and weapons for modelviewer, the website graphics and HTML files from Dreamweaver, ALL OF IT! Of course it's all really old data - the last comic from the Echoes storyline is page 85 - but it's all usable and better than nothing.

What does this mean? The return of the comic! Haven't you been reading? I've uploaded a little something of Lora in Stormwind Keep as a test of the old comic being made on new, superior hardware. I think I'll take this return to reinvent the comic a bit; improve upon its design, writing, flow, visuals, etc. I'm also going to increase the width of the comic pages to fit larger frames in. I had kept it somewhat slim to be compatible with 800x600 screens, but who really uses that resolution in 2011? Maybe my great grandmother but she's too busy playing solitaire to figure out how to change to 1024x768.
